Naeem Jassat was appointed Managing Director in March 2008. He joined IDS Consultants in 1999 as a trainee SAS consultant. Over his 10 years with IDS, he has worked his way up the organization through the ranks, holding positions of senior consultant and project manager to his current roles as managing director and major shareholder.
He has extensive SAS Warehouse and Cobol knowledge gained from many years consulting in a large banking environment.
Naeem has managed and delivered complete projects including Data Warehousing, Customer Value including Activity Based Costing, Matched Funds Transfer Pricing, Segmentation, Transactional Analysis and Reporting systems.
He has comprehensive of SAS in mainframe and Unix environments, Oracle, Microsoft and has become business domain specialist in account and customer profitability.
Apart from his responsibilities as the Managing Director, Naeem also manages a team of IDS developers responsible for a Funds Transfer Pricing & Customer Value system at a major SA financial institution.

Stewart Beckett was one of the founding members of IDS Consultants, a company formed in early 1995 together with Gabor Kovac & Dr. Kendal Jordi. The founding members were the product, consulting, and technical managers respectively of Decision Support Systems - South African distributor of SAS software. The company started with the encouragement and support of SAS Institute who appointed IDS as the first SAS Quality Partner in SA.
Stewart has been instrumental in the steady growth of IDS from its early beginnings 16 years ago, starting with the 3 founding members to the 35 consultants that the company employs today.
Educated at Falcon College in Zimbabwe, Stewart then served as a Military Intelligence officer in the army for 3 years before immigrating to South Africa in 1980 to study Computer Science at UCT.
He started his working career as a geo-statistician for Gold Fields Mining & Development in 1983. After 5 years at Gold Fields, he formed his own trading company exporting IT hardware & software to Zimbabwe and other Southern African countries.
Stewart was employed as the Product Manager in the Analysis & Quality Division at SAS Institute for 2 years, prior to forming IDS Consultants.
Stewart having been involved in the IT industry for the past 30 years, specializing in the area of Data Warehousing and Decision Support Systems adds value to the company. This together with his experience and knowledge of finance and retail banking benefits the company in mentoring new consultants. His primary role remains the finance function but he also has responsibility for guiding the strategic direction of the company
