The Mart Metabase Manager
The metabase was a central repository for details of all the measures and dimensions in the mart. It was extensible in a highly efficient manner both manually and programmatically. This module allowed the bulk loading and maintenance down to individual record level. It was incorporated within the mart builder.
The NAXIAN software consisted of six components:
- Operational Data Store Loader – The Warehouse Builder
- Metabase Maintenance Module – The Mart Metabase Manager
- Data Mart Extractor and Manager – The Mart Builder
- OLAP Engine and Maintenance Module – The Maintenance Module
- Desktop OLAP Browser – The Browser
- WEB OLAP Report Writer and Menu Builder – The Web Writer
